Amanda and Tom, RSYS and The Island, December 2012

On an absolutely perfect summer's day on the 27 December 2012, Amanda and Tom got married at the RSYS in Kirribilli, and then surprised everyone with a quick trip on a speed boat to the reception on The Island!

It was the best venue I have ever set up on, well, the most stunning weather did help, but far out it was cool. Such an awesome venue, and the flowers Amanda chose were by far some of the most simple and elegant I've done. Amanda and her bridesmaids had gardenia bouquets, and the boys had succulent buttonholes. Nearly all the flowers at the ceremony and reception were able to be kept by Amanda and her family to grow in their gardens!

Beautiful big copper pots with white hydrangea at the reception, and ferns and succulents adorned the Island, long with some beautiful bunting made by Edwina from Bunting Belle, http://buntingbelle.wordpress.com/ really adding to that beachy, relaxed feel of the day.

Covered and Floreat Do Henry Davis York

Floreat collaborated with Covered and Moreton's Hire at a really lovely event at Henry Davis York in January.

Floreat has been doing lots of corporate work with Moreton's Hire and Covered. Moreton's Hire and Covered are a great team! Moreton's hire provide all the furniture and anything you can think of that you'll need for a party or event, www.moreton.net.au, and Covered have really lovely soft furnishings available for events - www.covered.net.au

Henry Davis York hosted lots of people who work in events at different law firms, banks, etc, and there were some great suppliers there, including caterers, and even musicians! It was a great opportunity to showcase what we do.

Felicity and Vlad, Peppers Anchorage, 20 December 2012

Floreat did the flowers for Flick and Vlad's beautiful wedding at Pepper's Anchorage, Port Stephens just before Christmas in December 2012. It was such a great wedding which I had an amazing time being part of.

Vlad is from Czech Republic, and so all his family made it over for the wedding and had a fantastic few weeks here with Felicity's family - the wedding obviously being the highlight!

I loved doing these flowers too - Flick's theme was "pastelly neutral" and was very open to using natives, so I had a great time combining these with Julia roses and sea holly - I hope you like what I came up with! Enjoy the pics!
