Tegan and Sam's Tropical Bondi Wedding

Tegan and Sam had their wedding reception at Nick's Seafood, Bondi.

Their flowers for the ceremony were all white, including one of my favourite bouquets so far - Tegan's very simple bunch of bouvardia. They really wanted a bright colourful theme for the reception though, to go with the Vietnamese fighting fish on the tables, and the beautiful backdrop of Bondi Beach. So we chose some very pretty bright bunches of hyacincth for the tables, which worked in really well!

Cootamundra Debutante Ball, May 2011

In May I was asked to prepare corsages for the debutantes in Cootamundra that they could keep - this ended up opening my world to the world of artificial flowers! I was amazed what I could find, and ended up using roses, peonies, orchids, and blushing bride - see how they came out!

Amanda and Luke's Beautiful Autumn Wedding

Amanda and Luke Deacon really set the scene for the beautiful wedding in March this year - with the ceremony in a beautiful park on the water in Glebe, and then at the fantastic Boathouse in Glebe overlooking the city. Despite choosing a decidedly autumn theme for their wedding, with the gorgeous rusty colours and amazing textures of their flowers, it was a beautiful warm March day!

I loved working on this wedding, with a real change from the whites and pastels, Amanda was keen to use these bright colours, which I think worked beautifully!!! I loved the fact that we mixed up the more european flowers, with natives, and tropicals!

A point of difference was the use of corsages for the Bridesmaids instead of bouquets, and I also loved the fact that Amanda let me do some pomanders for the chairs at the Ceremony - which I LOVE! Check out the beautiful photos.
