Claudine and Dave, Watsons Bay, June 2012

Floreat Floral did the flowers for Claudine and Dave's wedding in June this year! The reception was at the Sergeant's Mess at Watson's Bay.

Claudine wanted to go for a "Donna Hay Long Lunch" theme at the reception, and she used some great natural coloured table cloths which looked fantastic! Lattice screens finished the look, which we tied pretty posies to.

The tables had clusters of pretty garden style flowers such as delphinium, daisies, sweet peas, jonquils, roses, lavendar etc. It looked gorgeous! The girls had beautiful tulips, while the little flower girls had pretty posies with sweet peas!

Thanks to Schuster Photography for the beautiful photos!

Melinda and Dylan, August 2012

Floreat put together the flowers for Min and Dylan's magical wedding at Clareville and Bilgola Surf Club in August this year! It was a beautiful day, and you couldn't imagine a happier couple!

I only wish I could have been there at the big day of one of my closest freinds, but Susie Hatherley skillfully stepped in to create the amazing creations you'll see in the photos below, beautifully captured by Lee Hulsmann of Summerland Photography in Manly.

The suspended chrysanthemum and tealight wall is one of my favourite things so far!

Emma and James, Bushbank Kiama, 1st day of Spring 2012

Floreat did the pretty spring flowers for Emma and James' beautiful wedding at Bushbank, Kiama on the first day of spring!

Well, it was pretty windy, but the sun was still shining and Emma and James had the biggest smiles on their faces that I've ever seen!

Emma was keen to go with lots of pretty springtime flowers. Her bouquets were made up of beautiful ranunculus, anenomes, buddleia, chrysanthemums and sweet peas, and were so fresh and bright!

Then there were clusters of milk bottles on all the tables with babies breath, delphinium, stock, lavender, chrysanthemums and ranunculus, and it was just gorgeous as you'll see!

Emma's stunning dress was made by the amazing Melinda, who is the famous bridal designer from Gurley - which is about 45 minutes north of Narrabri! She must be the most amazing dressmaker I've ever seen!

TGIF!

Thank God it's Friday! And in my case - thank God it's Flower Day!

What a beautiful day today, and to get you in the mood for the beautiful spring weekend ahead, and hopefully there will be lots of parties in store for you, I thought I'd post some photos of a dinner party I did the flowers for a couple of weeks ago when the weather was warming up and the flowers were pretty.
